Was it really 4 weeks ago people were getting off the plane, groggy with puffy eyes and wondering what they had gotten into?  It seems not long ago that you were being whisked away by your host parents and being forced to eat copious amounts of meat before coming back to meet me for a tour of this wonderful city called Segovia.  The time has really flown but hopefully the experience has been a positive one and something that will be reflected upon for years to come.  It was great getting to know all of you and to see your interactions with the locals and a culture unlike your own.  Looking through the photos I realize that you really did do a lot: and I haven’t seen YOUR photos either!  You shared something unique with the group and at the end of the day this experience is yours alone and no one can take that away from you.  You will always be able to look back at the summer of 2013 and say, “Oh yeah.  I lived in Spain that summer.”

I hope the rest of the summer treats everyone well and we will look to have a reunion some time in the fall.

Until then, I will leave you with a famous Spanish saying: "Os espero salud, amor, pesetas y el tiempo para gozarlos."

Parents and friends might like to know what this says so here is the English translation:
"I wish you health, love, money and the time to enjoy them."

Hasta la próxima,
Jaynz
